Yes, you are responsible to continue to make the escrow (i.e., homeowners’ insurance and real estate tax) payment portion of your mortgage payment. Affinity can only defer the payments owed to Affinity. The escrow portion of your payment is used to pay your real estate taxes and homeowner’s insurance. These payments must continue to be made.
