What is Digital Issuance?
  The process of obtaining card credentials for mobile and online use without a physical card.  This allows for immediate access to funds before receiving the plastic card via mail.


What is wallet provisioning?
  The process of pushing the digitally issued card from Card Center to a mobile wallet (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay).


What kind of card can I receive digitally?
  Digital issuance is currently available for debit card and credit card products.


How do I receive a digitally issued card?
 An email will be sent within an hour (M-S 8AM-8PM) containing an activation code.  This code will be used in the Affinity Card App to activate and receive the digital credentials.  


How do I know if my card was digitally issued?
 All debit cards are automatically enabled for digital issuance but can only be issued if there is a current email address on file.  Please confirm you have a current email address on file before submitting your card request.  


I did not receive the digital code, what do I do?
 Please confirm you have a current email address with us.  If so, please call us at 800.325.0808


I have the Affinity Card Center app, how do I receive the card credentials?
 After a card is ordered an email will be sent with the Activation Code to enroll and receive the digital card.

  1. Go to the App and tap Sign In
  2. Tap the Plus sign in the upper right corner
  3. Tap Enter Activation Code
  4. Enter the Activation Code>Continue
  5. Enter identification credentials>Continue
  6. Enter and Re-enter 4 digit PIN>Continue

I do not have the Affinity Card Center app, how do I get a digitally issued card?
 First download the app from Google Play or Apple App store.  Once you receive the activation code email, open the app and tap Enroll Now, Enroll by Activation Code.  Continue to follow the prompts.  

  1. Enter the 6 digit code and tap Continue
  2. Answer the Verify Identity questions and tap Continue
  3. Create a profile by entering a username and password
  4. First and last name will be pre-populated
  5. Username Rules
    Minimum of 7 characters
    Maximum of 64 characters
    Must Include at least one letter
    May contain special characters: @ _ . , -
    Password Rules
    Minimum of 8 characters
    Maximum 32 characters
    Must include at least one upper and one lower case letter
    Must include at least one number
    May contain ! @ # $ % + = / ? * _ ^ () {} & ‘ , - . : [] “
    Must not contain the same character or number more than 2 times in a row
    Must not contain 3 sequential numbers/letters
    Cannot contain spaces
    Cannot be any previous passwords
     Must not match the username
  6. Accept the Terms and Conditions by tapping the check box and Continue
  7. Enter and re-enter a PIN for the card> Continue.
  8. Choose option for enabling biometrics
  9. The card menu screen is displayed

 

How can I use a digitally issued card? 
 During the activation process you will be guided to push the card credentials to your mobile device’s wallet.  Once the push is completed this it can be used at any store that accepts mobile payments.  The card credentials are also available for view to be entered into online purchases.


Will I also receive a physical card?
 Yes, the payment credentials for your card are issued digitally for immediate use while the physical card is produced and mailed.    Both have the same card number, expiration date and security code.


Do I need to activate my physical card received?
 
Yes, the digital and physical cards operate independently.  The digitally issued card will be active once the activation process followed.  The physical card will not be able to be used until it is received and activated.
